This sophisticated but oh-so-comfortable hotel is absolute perfection. I will be returning for sure.

Georgie Loves: The Izza Boutique

Petanque Social Club marries the best of Morocco's rich history, intricate decor and effortlessly cool energy. Try the Sahara Spritz, a creative twist on a classic spritz that blends saffron and Campari for a uniquely Moroccan-inspired flavour.

Georgie Loves: A game of boules

I loved the elegant atmosphere at Farmers Marrakech. Locally grown ingredients in fresh seasonal dishes; farm-to-table dining taken to the next level.

EVENTS…
Um Mami

'Purpose-led Dining in the Heart of Marrakech'

Um Mami is an incredible culinary school set up by Danish Michelin starred chefs, where locals train before going on to do internships with the likes of Royal Mansour. From intimate private dinners and rooftop gatherings to elegant brand launches and large-scale celebrations, the Um Mami team curates each event with care.

Georgie Loves: The social impact of Um Mami. The income generated from each event directly supports their free culinary training programme for aspiring young chefs

TOUR…
Sidi Bouchich and Sidi Ghanem

My morning visit to the traditional neighbourhood of Sidi Bouchich was a true highlight of my trip, offering the chance to meet some exceptional craftsmen. I followed this with a design tour of the younger area of Sidi Ghanem, a very different kind of neighbourhood–more modern, industrial and design‑focused. If you’re into art, design, shopping, or just want to see another side of Marrakech, there are a lot of good reasons to spend time in Sidi Ghanem. Over the past decade or so it has transformed into a design district, filled with artisans, designers, showrooms, galleries and concept stores. Many makers run their showrooms and workshops side by side, making it a fascinating education as well.
