Jamshyd Sethna and Lucy Davison

It was maverick businessman Jamshyd Sethna, the founder of Banyan Tours, that inspired the inception of By Georgie in 2015. A man of kindness and honour, he is not only an art and music aficionado, but a legend in the travel industry. Alongside Banyan, he founded Shakti, offering authentic walking journeys through the villages of the Himalayas. Known for his pioneering spirit, he defined total immersion and transformative travel before the terms were the trend. With the extraordinary Lucy Davison now at the helm, Banyan’s innovative itineraries offer travellers the chance to authentically embrace India’s people, culture and soul without sacrificing comfort.
