When to go…
From the coast, to the Andes, to the Amazon, Peru has it all. It can be a challenge to pick the best time to go to Peru, because of the change in weather across the regions. The most popular time is during the dry season, where coastal areas have mild temperatures, and weather is favourable for visiting must-see destinations such as Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. During the ‘green season’, expect higher rainfall in the Andes and Amazon, with trekking routes being closed in February. Whilst weather might be a little unpredictable in the shoulder season, guests will enjoy fewer crowds. Enigma will always recommend the best time of year based on the itinerary.
