Peak Season: March - April & July - September
The best time to visit Borneo, when the days are dry and warm. Accommodation can be in short supply during this time.
Shoulder Season: February - May & June - October
Good weather and wildlife, with fewer people and lodges less busy.
January - February
Borneo has no specific birthing season – animals have young year-round – but this is a great time for birdwatchers to visit, thanks to winter migrations.
Low Season: November - February
Temperatures remain fairly constant year-round with averages of 27-32°C and relative humidity of around 80%. Higher chances of rain showers providing some relief from the heat.
